Ulster Transport Museum Trip P4/P5
3rd Jun 2026
Today, as part of P4/P5's transport topic the class visited the Ulster Transport Museum.
The children got to explore rail, tram and road galleries. They then got to discover 'racing legends' in the driven gallery and visit the museum of innovation.
Highlights included 'Maedb', the most powerful steam engine ever used on Ireland's railways.
The Titanic gallery exploring the most famous ship in the world, built in Belfast.
The children got to have a close up view of a Model-T Ford and a Ferguson Black Tractor.
The pupils had a wonderful day and our tour guide Hannah was highly impressed with the children's knowledge and interest. Well done boys and girls!
