Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Zelda from the Livestock & Meat Commission (LMC) of Northern Ireland into the P6 & P7 classroom!
Zelda educated the boys and girls about farm quality assured meat and the important role that local farming has on our food industry. We also discussed the importance of a healthy balanced diet.
After our talk, we were treated to a wonderful culinary delight when Zelda cooked us her Chilli Beef Nachos! 🌮
The children all got to taste-test the delicious cooking and it is safe to say they all thoroughly enjoyed the food as they all had seconds!!
