Today our P4 - P7 pupils thoroughly enjoyed a creative writing workshop with local author Declan Carville. Declan shared some of his great work with us and gave the boys and girls fantastic advice and tips for when they are completing their own creative writing.
Declan was very impressed with the children's engagement and enthusiasm throughout the session.
The children enjoyed hearing his wonderful story called 'The Magic Harp' and he challenged them to write their own sequel.
Declan was also able to show the wonderful illustrations within some of his books. To finish, we listened to 'The Fairy Glen', a magical tale which was inspired by The Fairy Glen in Rostrevor.
